Directory Guidelines

Directory Purpose

This directory is for women in tech across Greater Vancouver who actively engage in our events or community. It’s built to foster meaningful, real-life connections, visibility, and support within our local tech ecosystem.

Curated Access

This directory is a curated space for women who’ve attended at least one in-person event or are active in our private group. To maintain integrity, the profiles are manually approved and reviewed on a rolling basis.

Profile Updates or Removals

Only admins can currently edit or remove profiles. You can update your profile or request its deletion at any time by using the Support Form. We’ll take care of it within 24-48 hours.

Profile Activity

To keep the directory relevant, profiles may be removed if a member becomes inactive in the community group or hasn’t joined a meetup in the last 3 months. If your profile is removed due to inactivity and you’d like to rejoin, you can request reactivation at any time via the Support Form.

Be Respectful

Use this directory to connect, not to pitch, spam, or cold-sell. We’re creating a community, not a sales funnel. Generosity, kindness, and consent go a long way.

Visibility

The directory is publicly accessible to help amplify women in tech across the region. Only create a profile if you’re comfortable being visible and potentially contacted by others in the community or beyond.

One Profile per Person

Each member should only have one listing. If your role or company details change, request an update by using the Support Form. There’s no need to submit a new entry.

Limited Profiles per Company

This directory is for individuals, not company listings. Please refrain from creating multiple profiles for a single company. If your team wants to join, each person must meet the participation criteria. To showcase your company or team, please inquire about sponsorship or event partnership options.

Responsibility & Boundaries

This is a community-powered space. We do not endorse or verify individual members, their services, or collaborations. Any connection, project, partnership, business engagement, or venture formed through this directory or community is your sole responsibility. By participating, you agree to release the community organizers, MAESTRA Business Solutions, and Fire & Flow Academy from any liability, disputes, losses, damages (of any kind or nature, known or unknown), or other issues that may arise from your interactions with other members.

Thank you for helping us keep this women in tech directory vibrant, respectful, and relevant.
